About Us

The Guest House first opened its doors in October 2005. The Guest House provides accommodations in the form of furnished apartments located within the Medical Center Apartments building, 1926 West Harrison Street (at the corner of Ogden Avenue and Harrison Street) in Chicago, Illinois. The building is occupied primarily by residents, interns and medical students affiliated with the healthcare institutions located within the Illinois Medical District area (IMD). The building is owned and managed by the Chicago Dwelling Association.

The building is conveniently located within walking distance of the IMD’s world-class medical institutions, including Rush University Medical Center, John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital, University of Illinois Medical Center at Chicago and the Jesse Brown VA Medical Center.
