The IMD Guest House Foundation now leases nine apartments in a temporary facility located at
1926 W. Harrison Street. It’s the Chicago Dwelling Association’s Medical Center Apartments, which is in walking distance of all IMD hospitals. The warm, tastefully appointed rooms have been welcoming guests since October 2005.
The IMD Guest House Foundation expects to lease up 10 apartments in the temporary facility until it secures funding and a location in the Illinois Medical District. The building includes the following services and amenities:
• 24-hour security
• All healthcare institutions are within 3 blocks of the apartment building
• Each unit has a kitchenette (with a refrigerator and mini microwave oven), large walk-in closet, telephone,A/C, and
cable T.V.
• A laundry facility
• Public transportation is readily available
• A travel agency is available on site
